Hurricane

The Hurricane is a quick and agile, high-productivity, ride-on floor scraper designed for large area surface removal. The Hurricane significantly reduces the amount of time and effort required to remove a wide variety of thick coatings, floor coverings, and waterproofing membranes. It is designed to remove everything from VCT to glued down carpet, and also ceramic tile and hardwood.

The Hurricane is just the right balance of weight and power for its size. The Hurricane’s weight can be reduced down to 1,300 lbs. if needed for elevator access, etc. The single joystick in your right hand is for direction and speed control. Your left hand joystick controls the blade height and angle. The patented twisting blade bar keeps your tooling flat to the surface you are scraping.  This can also be locked into place to keep from twisting if needed.   

The Hurricane’s engine received an upgrade before the year 2015. The 25 hp Kohler engine now has Electronic Fuel Injection. This means maximum fuel efficiency, reduced emmissions, and easier starts. No more pulling on the choke cable, just turn the key and go. The engine is also outfitted with an exhaust scrubber/purifier to reduce emissions.  This engine delivers the power and reliability that’s demanded by the working professional.
